EXTENDED DECKING FOR HOT TUB
Previously a small decked area for 8 years, a hot tub had been installed and new decking was required as the old decking was dangerous and slippery when wet. Quotes for composite decking between £7,000-£10,000 were received.
ABOUT
After discussion, it was thought more environmentally friendly to lay pressure treated soft-wood decking ourselves. We leveled the site, and a membrane laid underneath the frame on which the decking was fixed. The original decking was jet-washed and oiled.
The result was a beautiful extended decked area, self-built, for under £700, in natural materials.
